— Nabi’s POV

“Good morning, Nabi!! It’s time to wake up!!”

That was my alarm clock, isn’t it cute? I opened my windows and breathed in some fresh morning air.

“Ahhh~! What a beautiful morning!” hmmmm… I wonder how Moonchul’s mornings are.

“Heerin! Hurry up! Taeng is gonna eat up everything on the table!”

“I’m coming Sungyoung! I just need to take a shower.”

“Good morning Sungie-umma! Where’s Taehee?”

“After she ate breakfast, she left for school.” Sungyoung replied.

“Why so early?”

“She said she needs to finish something at school.”

“okay…”

“Did you lock door?” I asked her.

“Yup!”

“How about the back and the windows?”

“Yes, Heerin.”

“Now that’s done, bye Sungie-umma! Good luck at school!”

“You too, Nabi!”

Finally, I arrived at school. It took me like 15 minutes to walk from my house to school.

“Good morning Nabi! I just saw enter the front gate. Wanna go to class together?” Kim Moonchul, my very first friend and best friend here at school. I hope he’s different from the other guys.

“Sure, Moonchul.”

I don;t know why, but everytime I’m with Moonchul I feel comfortable, not like when I’m with other boys. I guess that’s what you fell when you have a friend by your side.

“Hey there, Nabi.” Jong Jineun, the school’s kingka, but for me he is the school’s resident jerkface.

“Good morning Jineun. mind if we pass the hallway?” I replied to him in a sarcastic voice.

“Sure, but—”

“But what?”

“I was wondering if you can meet me later. Just you and meet at the back of the school at lunch.” he said. Then I felt Moonchul held my hand. It was a tight grip if you ask me.

“If I’ll come, would you leave me and Moonchul alone?”

“Deal.”

“Ok. I’ll come.”

“Moonchul-ssi, are you ok?”

“I’m fine.” he said.

“You sure? ‘I’m fine’ is the biggest lie in the world.”

“Look, you are my only friend here. No one wants to accept me, because I’m weird. But you came along accepted for who I am. That’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me. And I’m afraid he’s up to no good again.”

“Awww… that is sooo sweet of you to say that! I promise you, he is not gonna take me away from you, not in this lifetime. The difference between you and him is ENORMOUS. He’s a great big jerk, while you’re this really nice guy who cares a lot for his friends, like me.” I said to him

“I’m doing this so he won’t bother you or me again, alright?”

“Arasseo, Nabi.”

— Later, at lunch

“Moonchul! Let’s have lunch together!”

“What about Jineun?”

“He can wait, but now IT’S LUNCHTIME!”

—Jineun’s POV—

Aish! that Nabi girl. She is so…. attractive. She’s the first girl to refuse me. ever since that, I think I’ve got the hots for her, in short I like her. I’ve got to ask her out. Aish! What has she done to me? She made me lose my bad-boy look! Where is she anyway? It’s been 20 minutes. Maybe she’s eating her lunch, with that weird ghost boy she’s friends with. What does he have that I don’t? Being weird is one. kekeke! >:)) Be patient Jineun. She’ll come. I know it.

“Jineun-ssi, where are you?” I heard her cute voice.

“I’m right here, Nabi. What took you so long?”

“I ate lunch duh!” What a stupid question, Jineun! Of course she ate lunch!

“so what are you going to tell me?” she asked, coldly.

“I-I…. uhhmmm…..”

“What?”

“I THINK LIKE YOU PARK HEERIN!” I told her. She was shocked, I can tell.

“Are you free on Saturday?”

“Sorry Jineun, it’s just that I don’t feel the same way as you do.” then we heard some rumbling in the bushes.

“Arasseo.”

“See you at class, Jineun.” She walked away farther.

You really drive me crazy, Heerin. Someday you’ll be mine.

—Moonchul’s POV—

“I THINK I LIKE YOU PARK HEERIN!” I heard Jineun’s voice. I crept down a bit so they can’t see me. He’s gonna ask her out! Nabi say no or else he’ll take you away from me! Aish! This bushes are making me itchy!

“Are you free on Saturday?” Damn that Jineun.

“Sorry Jineun, it’s just that I don’t feel the same way as you do.” Thank God she refused him, again. Aish! I think they saw me! I’ve got to leave now!

I ran as fast as I can to the classroom. I have to act normal, so she won’t notice I followed her.

“hah… hah…” I panted. Made it. A minute later, she went inside the room and sat down on her usual seat, next to mine.

“I’m back Moonchul!”

“So what happened?”

“I could only tell you this, I said no to him.”

“Thanks Nabi.”

“Anieyo!” She gave me a sweet smile, so I smiled back.

— Laterr (dismissal time)

“Nabi! Wait up!” it was Jineun.

“Can I walk you to your house?” he asked Nabi.

“Sorry, but Moonchul promised me he’ll walk me today, am I right Moonchul?” she winked at me. I get it, she’s avoiding Jineun. I’ll play along.

“Ne.”

“How about next time then?” he asked Nabi again.

“ok.”

“Does Jineun really like you?”

“Moonchul! Did you spied on us?”

“I really don’t trust him!” I’m so pathetic.

“Mianhae, Nabi.” I apologized to her.

“It’s fine, I understand. Uwa~! ^^ we’re here. I’m so excited for you to see my house and friends!”

She lives with her friends?
