She opened the gate and said, “What are you standing there for? Come in!” she pulled into her house, which is quite big.

“I’m home!”

“Hi Heerin! Who’s your friend?” a girl with short dark brown hair asked Nabi.

“This is Kim Moonchul, he’s my best friend at school. Moonchul, this is Kwon Taehee, she’s my best friend since I was in elementary.” I’m her best friend? I like the sound of that.

“Annyeong Taehee-ssi.”

“Annyeong.” she replied with a smile.

“By the way, where’s Sungie-umma?” Nabi asked her.

“She’s in the kitchen, cooking dinner most probably.

“Come on, Moonchul. I’ll introduce to Sungie-umma.” she pulled me again.

“Watcha cooking there umma?” she back-hugged a girl in a ponytail and apron.

“Aish! Nabi!” I laughed a bit.

“Mianhae! Umma, I brought home a friend today. Could you just turn around to see him?”

“Alright.”

“Sungie-umma, this is Kim Moonchul, he’s my best friend at school.”

“Annyeong Moonchul-ssi. My name is Hwang Sungyoung. I’m also Nabi’s best friend since childhood. It’s good to see our Heerin is making friends. Please take care of her.”

“Arasseo, Sungyoung-ssi.”

“Sungie-umma~~” she tugged her apron like a little kid. She’s really good at aegyo.”Sungie-umma, can we go upstairs? Dinner’s not finish yet.”

“Ne, Heerin-ah~.”

“Yey! Let’s go Moonchul!” she pulled me upstairs like an excited kid who would like to try every ride in a amusement park.  I wonder what her room is like.
“Here’s my room. Sorry if it’s a little messy.” Wow, her room is bigger than I expected. She jumped in her bed. Is she like this in her house?

“Come here, oppa. Sit on my bed. It’s really comfy.” Oppa? Oh, right I’m her bestfriend. Sounds cool to me. I sat next to her.

“You know, you are the first boy to ever step into my room.”

“Seriously?”

“Seriously.”

“So you live with your friends?”

“Ne~!”

“Why?”

“Since your my oppa, I think I could tell you why.” I nodded. Her cheerful face turned into a serious one.

“I used to live in Mokpo, which far from here. Sungyoung and Taehee also lived there. In school, I was the queenka and I had a lot of friends.”

“And fanboys?”

“Yeah, fanboys. I started dating this guy, the kingka of the school. So everytime we are seen together by our schoolmates they would say that we suit each other and we are the perfect couple.” tears started to roll from her eyes.

“— Then I caught cheating on me with my so-called best friend. I broke up with him, but he and my friend started rumors about me cheating on him and ending up breaking his heart.”

“So everyone in the school started hating and bashing you?”

“Correct. So my parents decided that I should move to another school. Sungyoung and Taehee also decided to move with me.”

“You have great friends. Don’t worry, I’ll protect you no matter what.”

“Gomawo oppa.” she hugged me. Then we heard something, it was sort of in human.

“What was that?” I asked her.

“Mianhe. It was just my stomach, I’m starving! I’m sure Sungie-umma cooked something good tonight. Come on, let’s go downstairs.”
